The purpose of the following provisions in these terms and conditions (hereinafter the Terms and Conditions) is to govern the use of the Website for persons that may come here as visitors, potential users and/or customers, partners or have any other type of interest in Nerdbord platform (hereinafter the User).
In the context of the Terms and Conditions, the following terms “We,” “Us,” or “Our,” refer to the Owner. The term “You” in the context of the Terms and Conditions refers to the User.
Services
- We provide an open-source platform that enables software developers to create publicly accessible profiles and connect with individuals seeking developers for own projects.
- Users sign up via Github and create a profile containing information such as full name, contact email, picture, LinkedIn, bio, country and city of residency, relocation preferences, position, seniority, tech stack, and employment type.
- After submitting a profile, users must wait for 24 hours for approval or rejection of their profile. Reasons for rejections will be provided.
- Approved profiles will appear on a publicly accessible list of developers. However, note that email addresses are not publicly displayed, only the information from the profile creation form is visible.
- Visitors to the platform can contact developers via an in-app contact form. This action sends an email to the developer, who can then directly reply to the sender.
Notifications
- Users will receive an email notification regarding the approval or rejection of their profile.
Privacy
- Email addresses provided during profile creation are not publicly displayed to ensure the privacy of our users.
Charges and Payments.
Our platform is open-source and free to use.
RESTRICTIONS
You agree not to, and You will not permit others to:
- Licence, sell, rent, lease, assign, distribute, transmit, host, outsource, disclose or otherwise commercially exploit the Website or make the platform available to any third party, except as permitted under the open-source license.
